HTTP-500 Error When Accessing 11g Portal in a 64-Bit Operating System

After upgrading a 10g Portal to 11g, errors are seen when attempting to access the Portal home page.

Error 500--Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

From WLS_Portal.out from startup time:
