Receiving The Error "User <name> does not belong to any security groups with BPM permissions" When Logging In To The IPM Web Client (Doc ID 873900.1)

Upon logging in to the IPM Web client, the following error is displayed:

User [UserName] does not belong to any security groups with BPM permissions.  Failure occurred in message CQueryPrepareUser.class ATL::CComObject::ConnectToProcess class ATL::CComObject::Connect

Using the IPM Windows/Production client works.
