Symptoms
Trying to create a Root Node in Oracle Internet Directory (OID) using ldapadd command failed:
$ ldapadd -h <HOSTNAME> -p <PORT> -D cn=orcladmin -w <PASSWORD> -v -f root.ldif
ldap_initialize( ldap://<HOSTNAME>:<PORT>)
