Verifying Installation of Report Parser: No Items Found in Search

This problem can occur on any platform.
The documentation states that you should next do the following:
Search Content Server for content items.
a. Navigate to a search page.
b. In the Title field, enter Report Parser.
c. Click Search (or press Enter).
However, when you search for Report Parser in the Title field, no results are returned.
