Goal

Oracle Fusion Middleware deprecation process is to announce a feature deprecated in a given release where it will continue to be fully supported for bug fixes until the next major release. In the next major release, the feature will then be removed. In some cases it may remain, but only to extend the transition period where error correction support is no longer expected. A major release is defined by the first three digits of the version, e.g. 10.3.6 to any 12c release, but not 12.2.1.0 to 12.2.1.2 as a 4th digit patch set release. All features remain supported as they are documented through a patch set release life cycle unless otherwise noted.
