Excessive TopLink Logging When EnableResequencer=true in esb_config.ini (Doc ID 954712.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 03, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle ESB - Version: 10.1.3.5
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In SOA version 10.1.3.5 you have added EnableResequencer=true to the $ORACLE_HOME/integration/esb/config/esb_config.ini file.

After this in an OC4J installation you notice that there is excessive logging into logfiles in $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs/*.  The vast majority of the logging is marked as coming from "TopLink".

In a WebLogic installation you will see the following "TopLink Finer" and stuck thread messages:

[TopLink Finer]: 2009.09.10
06:30:03.187--ServerSession(19651588)--Thread(Thread[[STUCK] ExecuteThread:

In both OC4J and WebLogic cases the TopLink logging is excessive.
