Symptoms

When using Microsoft Word to checkin and convert Word documents (both .doc and/or .docx formats) into PDF, the ensuing PDF files contain corrupted and/or unreadable characters.

-- Steps To Reproduce:
Create a Word document.
Check in the document using Word.
Wait for the conversion to take place.
View the converted PDF file.
