Symptoms

A Scenario scheduled to run every few seconds, is successfully working for a while. There are over 40 000 executions actually in the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) log.

Due to changes in the underlying Object (Package, Procedure, Integration Interface...), the Scenario needs to be re-generated.

But the re-generation operation does freeze Designer. Same happens if trying to delete the Scenario, or import in synonymy UPDATE or INSERT_UPDATE modes.

This problem has also been observed when attempting to access the Hyperion folder using ODI Metadata Navigator. This is manifested in the signaling of the following error message:
