Content Server Apache filter detected a bad request_rec structure (Doc ID 961695.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 24, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version: and later   [Release: 10gR3 and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On Content Server (UCM) with Solaris64 and 32-bit Apache2.0, when attempting to log into the content server after a new install, the following error occurs:

Content Server Apache filter detected a bad request_rec structure. This is possibly a problem with
LFS (large file support). Bad request_rec: uri=NULL;
Sizing information:
sizeof(*r): 392
[int]sizeof(r->chunked): 4
[apr_off_t]sizeof(r->clength): 4
[unsigned]sizeof(r->expecting_100): 4
If the above size for r->clength is equal to 4, then this module
was compiled without LFS, which is the default on Apache 1.3 and 2.0.
Most likely, Apache was compiled with LFS, this has been seen with some
stock builds of Apache. Please contact Support to obtain an alternate
build of this module.

NOTE: This issue can occur on any UNIX-based OS with any build of Apache
