Symptoms

If you are trying to create a new content or update an existing content for a string property with a value that contains 254 characters including a special (multibyte) character, then it might cause BatchUpdateException, even though the corresponding database column TEXT_VALUE can accommodate 254 characters.

java.sql.BatchUpdateException: ORA-12899: value too large for column "CM_PROPERTY"."TEXT_VALUE"
