Goal

NOTE:

Similar issue for af:button in 12.1.3.0.0 is discussed in Note 2356125.1.

The Design Editor of JDeveloper gives the following error when trying to drag-n-drop exportPivotTableData component into commandButton:

Export Pivot Table Data is not valid child of a Button ... element.

However, in Source editor you can still create the following:

...
<af:panelGroupLayout id="pgl1">
  <af:commandButton text="Export to Excel" id="cb1">
    <dvt:exportPivotTableData type="excelHTML"
                              exportedId="pivotTable1"
                              filename="<FILENAME>.xls"
                              title="Some Title"
                              exportedData="all"/>
  </af:commandButton>
</af:panelGroupLayout>
...

But still JDeveloper warns that exportPivotTableData is not a proper child of af:commandButton.

Why do you get this error ?
