Using Active Directory Microsoft Login with the ProxyConnections8 component enabled, you are unable to access the Content Server logs even though your ID has the Admin and sysmanager roles, however, Content Server "Local" Admin roled users can access the log files.
When denied, the Content Server error presented is:
Access Denied to Content Server managed resource
