Symptoms
Portal side rendering is very slow when the portalControlTreeCache is not enabled.
Oracle WebLogic Portal renders pages by means of various caches. The portalControlTreeCache is particularly important for avoiding performance degradation. This cache enables streaming mode Portal deployments and caches a user specific custom tree of artifacts to be considered for rendering.
