This document explains how to display an Alert Message to Users that do not have a Password Hint Question/Answer for Password Reset when they forget their password.
This sample code is provided for educational purposes only and not supported by Oracle Support Services. It has been tested internally, however, and works as documented. We do not guarantee that it will work for you, so be sure to test it in your environment before relying on it.
The solution provided in this note requires hardcoding the orcladmin username/password in a stored procedure. If you want to protect your username/password information check the following note for some recommendations on how to do this:
