OID PLSQL Post Modify Plugin Not Firing/Executing When The Attribute Chosen Is CN (orclpluginattribute: CN)
(Doc ID 978051.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 17, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Internet Directory - Version 10.1.4 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 10.1.4.
Custom-created plsql post_modify plugin does not fire when plug in's orclpluginattribute is set to CN.
The custom plugin fires and executes properly if orclpluginattribute is something other than CN.
Turned on plug-in debugging and use plg_debug() but not seeing any evidence that the plugin ever fires when the attribute modified is CN.
NOTE: The CN value is automatically modified by an Active Directory (AD) Directory Integration Platform (DIP) to OID import synchronization process, whenever the corresponding sync'd entry's CN is modified in AD accordingly.
