This problem can happen with any version of WCI.
Symptoms
When a remote portlet communicates with the WCI WS Server, it may fail with the following message:
System.Exception: Error in getting form data. ---> System.Net.WebException: The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseStatusLine
at com.plumtree.remote.prc.soap.QueryInterfaceProcedures.QueryInterface(String sInterfaceID)

You may also see an Expect: 100-Continue header being sent in the HTTP POST.
