Why is the lsof Output Not Listing the libmuxer.so File While Running JRockit? (Doc ID 983088.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 01, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

We enabled the native IO performance pack for WebLogic Server (WLS) by checking Native IO Enabled and specifying the path to the libraries in LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

While using the JRockit JVM, the "lsof" command is not showing that the libmuxer.so file is loading; however, if we use the Sun JDK, the libmuxer lib is shown to be loading successfully.

Why is the "lsof" command behaving differently with different JDKs?
