WLS Install Fails on Linux x64: "A fatal error has occurred. This application will terminate." (Doc ID 984454.1)

Symptoms

While running the WebLogic Server 10.3.2.0 Installer, it fails with the following error message: 

A fatal error has occurred. This application will terminate.

The error screenshot should be something like:

 

You can debug this situation by adding some parameters at command line:-

$ java -jar wls1032_generic.jar -log=$HOME/install_linux64.log -log_priority=debug

The error within the install_linux64.log should be something like:-
