Purpose

Configuration Framework

In Portal 5.0J and G6, the gateway component is handled by the openkernel.openhttp library (as opposed to Portal 5.0.x's WebDownloaderParallel and httplib). The openhttp component has all settings configurable in:

[PT_HOME]\settings\common\serverconfig.xml

Some of them allow for fine-tuning, others for remote webservice proxy and SSL configurations.

Scope

The following values may not be present in the serverconfig.xml file, but do default to certain hardcoded values. They all exist under the component namespace of http://www.plumtree.com/config/component/types/openhttp. Search for this string in the serverconfig.xml file to locate these settings.
