Last updated on DECEMBER 16, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 8.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

It appears that the WebLogic Server instance (acting as client) is caching DNS entries and a reboot is required to reset the DNS cache if any IP address associated to a DNS is changed.

Would it be possible to control this behavior in the WebLogic Server configuration?
