Can OID DIP Synchronize External Directory Users to OID Group Membership? (Doc ID 986978.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 30, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Internet Directory - Version 10.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

OID DIP synchronization has been configured to synchronize Active Directory users to OID, this is working successfully.

There is an additional requirement for DIP to add the synchronized users to a specific OID group as members. There is no corresponding Active Directory group that all the synchronized users belong to.
How to use DIP synchronization to add 3rd party directory users to an OID group where there is no corresponding group membership in the 3rd party LDAP directory?
