Symptoms

When using generic installer to install WebLogic Server (WLS) on AIX, if the file system under which WLS would be installed has root mount point permissions, running installer as a non-root user, we may get error: "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.bea.plateng.wizard.WizardController". For example:

$ which java
/usr/java6_64/jre/bin/java
$ java -jar server103_generic.jar
