How To Disable Oracle ATG Output to error.log, warning.log, info.log, and debug.log (Doc ID 1037383.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 19, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Commerce Platform - Version 2006.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Oracle ATG creates redundant logging content in error.log, info.log, warning.log, and debug.log. The logging found in these log files duplicates content found in the application server log files or in dynamo.log (when running on DAS). This document describes how to disable the logging to these Oracle ATG log files.

Additional information on disabling the dynamo.log file can be found in <Document 1362731.1> - How To Disable dynamo.log. Recommended settings for the console logs can be found in <Document 1538962.1> - Recommended Console Logging Setup for Oracle ATG Web Commerce Applications.
