This article describes how to enable Java RMI debugging to troubleshoot RMI connection problems. RMI connectivity problems may appear as:
- Content Administration (CA) server is unable to connect to a Publishing Agent or Publishing Web Agent server
- An ACC client is unable to connect to an Oracle ATG server on a different host
- The BCC is unable to communicate with a deployment target
- Oracle ATG instances are unable to start or stop a remote search engine
