Oracle Commerce Startup Missing CONFIGPATH and CLASSPATH Log Output on WebLogic With Warning: No appenders could be found for logger (atg.nucleus.servlet.NucleusServlet) (Doc ID 1038036.1)

Symptoms

The Oracle Commerce application running on WebLogic fails to log any CLASSPATH or CONFIGPATH information during startup. In addition, a warning message "No appenders could be found for logger (atg.nucleus.servlet.NucleusServlet)" is reported. For example:

finder: weblogic.utils.classloaders.CodeGenClassFinder@a3dc91 annotation: releaseAgent@dyn.

log4j: Trying to find [log4j.xml] using ClassLoader.getSystemResource().
