What exactly happens during the synchronization process?

Changes

The indexer records the task synch time as all the time it takes to synch to a number of runtimes in that synch group. out of the box during install there is just one synch group.
The time of the task covers, transferring the files, the load of the new index into the runtime, the unload of the old index, the delete of the last revision on the runtime, and the checking the status of the runtime.
