Identifying and solving issues with the Information Manager Find (Lucene debugging options) (Doc ID 1039458.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 24, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Knowledge - Version 8.0.x and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
The IM console content FIND function within a channel is a separate search function that is implemented using a lucene index. The index is stored in the path designated by the IM config search - FULL_TEXT_SEARCH_DIR=00;$IM_HOME/search directory. Only one IMWS instance can be used to update the search index. If there is really heavy content authoring going on during peek usage, you may consider using a dedicated IMWS for this purpose. Because of locking constraints more than one IMWS cannot be used.

Symptoms

Common Problems:

I can't find a document in Information Manager Find.
