Symptoms

If the analytics job has not been run in some time or there have been failures in running the job for some time, a large number of logs could have accumulated for processing.  If left to process on their own in one big job it is possible that the indexer memory sizing will not be sufficient to run the job successfully.  If the number of logs is larger than several days of logs, splitting them up and processing them in multiple runs is recommended.
