IM DB SQL to Locate where Images and Attachments are Used (Doc ID 1041112.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 26, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Knowledge - Version 8.1.2.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The IM database has a table named contentdata, and in that table is an xml representation of the article.  There is one copy for each version.

To find where images and attachments or some type of html (as HTML is not indexed by the content find function) are used in articles and make a list of them you can query the IM DB tables.

For attachments you could also grep the resources directory to find files with certain types.
