Goal

After the BRM server components (cm, dm_oracle, etc) have been running for some hours, when an application tries to connect to the BRM server, the dm_oracle throws the following error message in the 'dm_oracle.pinlog'.

It gives same repeated error whenever an application tries to connect to the BRM server:

E Sun Jan 3 16:07:55 2010 dev dm:7351 dm_subr.c(124):1207 1:test:UnknownProgramName:0:RMICallHandler-63:12:1262524075:0
ORACLE error: do_sql: PINStmtExecute: code 25408, op 0

E Sun Jan 3 16:07:55 2010 dev dm:7351 dm_if_oracle.c(122):4908 1:test:UnknownProgramName:0:RMICallHandler-63:12:1262524075:0
TRANS OPEN: do_sql "set transaction read write" bad, err=1(PIN_ERR_NO_MEM), trans_flags 0x1, poid_id 18446744073709551615
E Sun Jan 3 16:49:26 2010 dev dm:7320 dm_if_oracle.c(122):4449 1:dev:cm:7475:1:9:1262526566:1
DMbe TRANS_FIRST: #0 "start trans..." 0 bad, op 7, errcode -1
E Sun Jan 3 16:49:26 2010 dev dm:7320 dm_if_oracle.c(122):4457 1:dev:cm:7475:1:9:1262526566:1
ORACLE error: dm_if_process_op: OCITransStart: code 25408, op 0
=ORA-25408: can not safely replay call

The problem is resolved when a restart of all BRM server components is performed.

One thing to point out is that there's a firewall between the dm_oracle and database.

BRM server is deployed in HP-UX B.11.31 U ia64 server, with RAC architecture and connects to Oracle 11g database with RAC system configuration.
