Last updated on AUGUST 22, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Demantra Demand Management - Version 7.1.1.1 to 7.2.0.2 [Release 7 to 7.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

We have a Demantra 7.1.1 on linux redhat 4, we have to move this server to a different location which also involves a change of the IP address. The machine name will be kept the same. The server move will involve the following changes on the OS "changing the IP address and default gateway for eth0, the only connected network interface. We will change /etc/hosts to reflect the new IP address."
Will the  Demantra work after the server move ? Are there any changes that need to be done on Demantra? Are IP addresses stored in any configuration files for  Demantra ?
Since the host name will not be changed, do you think it will cause any issues ?
