ORA-12801: "Error Signaled in Parallel Query Server" Occurs While Executing the 'Pre' Function of the OCIROQ Batch (Doc ID 1055106.1)

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 12.x, the the 'Pre' function of the batch OCIROQ fails with the following error:

“prepost~20091201044051~ociroq_pre~rpl_distro_tmp~-12801~ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P051 ORA-12853: insufficient memory for PX buffers: current 23532K, max needed 155520K ORA-04031: unable to allocate”.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Set up replenishment for a large volume of data.
  2. Execute the following batches:

    3.  Notice that the Pre function of the batch OCIROQ fails with the error above.


This issue occurs when there is large volume of data set up for Replenishment on a particular day.
