Troubleshoot Steps for BI Workflow Processes

Symptoms

Scenario 1:

When running an workflow process, the execution does not complete successfully, instead the following error is encountered:
"RPE-02248: For security reasons, activity operator Shell has been disabled by the DBA."

Example:
SPLWF_D_ACCT:FILEMGR_PRE
INFORMATIONAL
RPE-02248: For security reasons, activity operator Shell has been disabled by the DBA.


Scenario 2:

When running an workflow process, the execution does not complete successfully, instead the following error is encountered:
"RPE-02235: The operating system has reported that it cannot execute the requested command. This may be because the command or the parameters are invalid, or that the command is shell command. Any result code return is specific to the operating system. Debug information has been produced."

Example:
SPLWF_D_ACCT:FILEMGR_PRE

Scenario 3:


The workflow executes without errors but no rows are inserted or updated. Also the Job Final Status references Completed with warnings.
