Purpose

Enabling OSM to be restored after a failed upgrade

To be able restore after an upgrade OSM can use the flash recovery functionality of the Oracle 10g Enterprise edition or later

The roll back should only be used to recover from a failed upgrade. Flash rollback will roll back both schema and data, to maintain consistency in external systems every effort should be made to ensure a restore is made before provisioning continues

This procedure should only be attempt with assistance from a DBA familiar with Oracle 10g Enterprise Edition or later.
