Primavera P6 SDK Data Source Is Not Viewable After Installation on Windows 7 64-Bit (Doc ID 1064306.1)

Symptoms

When installing the Primavera Software Development Kit (SDK) on Windows 7 64-bit, the installation completes successfully, however, the "Primavera P6 SDK" Data Source is not visible in the System DSN tab of the 'ODBC Data Source Administrator'.

The ODBC Data Source Administrator is accessed via Start, Control Panel, System and Security, Administrative Sources, Data Sources (ODBC)
