Symptoms

Users have sales order lines that have been pick released and are in Awaiting Shipping status as they are not going to ship the order to the customer until the specified future date (even though the shipment is ready to go). The Inventory has been moved to a staging subinventory pending the actual shipment of the sales order. The user has not shipped the sales order line but plans to do so within the next week.

However the MDS - Master Demand Schedule still picks up this sales order as valid open demand and so does ASCP Data Collections which then generates a new supply planned order (excess/unnecessary) after rerunning an MRP or ASCP plan.
