Oracle Demantra Demand Management - Version 7.2.0.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

There are three additional configurations that should be made to a environment where Demantra is running on Oracle 11g Database.

This affects clients that are running 11g Oracle Databases with Demantra Version v7.2.0.2 and above. Note that Demantra Base Version v7.2.0 and the first Cumulative Patch version of v7.2.0, which is commonly referred to as v7.2.0.1, are NOT supported with Oracle Database 11g

 1. Demantra Schema needs the ACL Privileges granted
 2. PURGE RECYCLEBIN needs to be run on a regular basis
 3.  ORA-2291 error raised when doing MERGE INSERT UPDATE on a table that has column with a default value and a foreign key constraint and the column is not included in the INSERT.   This RDBMS Bug, on clients running 11g below patch version 11.2.0.2, has caused issues in Demantra in such areas as creating new levels and running Parallel Processing but basically anywhere an ORA-02291 error is observed in Demantra.
