On : version, LoadData

Find that Planners are not able to view forecasted items based on ODP category .

Customer had 2 master organizations and few months ago they had disabled one master org and they were able to load data fine. Now new business group(a logical partition) has been set up at EBS end. They have created a new inventory org and have kept the same master org.
They run standard collections and that brings in data in the msc_item_categories table.
Then they run the Booking and shipping collections with the option of Launch Download=no.  So data is not loaded to demantra but just to staging tables
They also run the Collect Level Types for the 2 levels that they have :
Level 1 Location/org
Level 2 product category
They run the ep_load to load the data from staging tables to to demantra tables

However they see that the t_src_item_tmpl table does not have valid data for the column ebs_product_category_code
Their profile profile option HR:Cross Business Group is currently set up as NO. As a result the demantra logic checks the master org in apps.mtl_paramters table and fails if it finds two master org. These master organizations belong to two different business groups hence cannot view data from one to another

Customer is using the MSD_DEM profile as ODP

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) Set up MSD_DEM = ODP
2) Run Shipping and booking history from demantra administrator responsibility.
3) Collect Level 1 and level 2
4) Update Level Codes
5) Launch EPload

Login to demantra workbench and all items are associated with "Unassociated" category.

Moreover, MSC_Item_Categories contains all ODP category data from regular ASCP collection.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, planners are not able to view forecasted items based on ODP category and hence cannot proceed with forecasting for finished goods. It will have an impact on ASCP plan recommendations and planned operations.
