A/R Actions (Adjustments) Taking Too Long To Display (Doc ID 1072063.1)

Symptoms

A/R Actions search takes too long to display results. When the preference setting for A/R Actions (In Balance Tab) has a value less than the number of A/R Actions to display in Customer Center, user has option to perform a 'Search' . Clicking the 'Search' button and then specifying all amounts results in the search take approximately 6 mins to return 78 A/R actions (adjustments). If the preference setting for A/R Actions has a value greater than the number of A/R Actions to display in Customer Center the 'Search' button is not available and the A/R Actions display automatically and with no delay i.e., the 78 A/R Actions in this example displays immediately. Note this is a parent account with 39 child accounts.

Steps to re-produce

Need to use an account with A/R Actions
1- Edit preferences, set A/R Actions setting to low number (note this number must be less than the number of A/R Actions you are going to display - if its not lower you will not have the search option)
2- Click 'Balance' tab, select a bill that has several A/R Actions
3- On the Bill Details page you should see 'Search button for A/R Actions
4- Click the 'Search button'
5- On the Search pop up page, select 'All Amounts
6- Click 'Search'
7- When prompted to 'Continue' click yes
