EXPORTED WORKSHEET GETS SAVED WITH DEFAULT .XLS EXTENSION (Doc ID 1081000.1)

Goal

Customer is using Windows Office 2007. When they export any worksheets it gets saved with .xls extension and when user tries to open these they get warning message

Tthe file you are trying to open ,'filename.xls' is in a different format than specified by the file extension .Verify that the file is not corrupted...


This message appears to be a new feature in excel 2007 and prevents opening files that may be corrupt etc. Why does Demantra not save the exported worksheet in the correct format and extension so that this message can be avoided?
