Goal

We are facing locking issues in ASN processing due to multi-threading. ASNs are threaded by Location, when ASNs coming from the same WareHouse (WH) are processed by a different thread it causes a locking error when the ASN processing attempts to update the FROM_LOCATION's Stock On Hand (SOH) in ITEM_LOC_SOH table.

Error :

java.sql.SQLException: SubscriberHelper.execute() threw Exception: Error from {call RMSSUB_ASNOUT.CONSUME(?,?,?,?)}: [L] Table ITEM_LOC_HIST with key values of 4181938, 931601 is locked by another user.

Is there any workaround to resolve contention/locking issue on the ASN interface ?
