With CCB Implementation on RAC, Can Session Persistence be Used? (Doc ID 1081927.1)

Goal

With a clustered Customer Care and Billing implementation can session persistence be used?

For for example, at an application level, are the session objects exposed and visible - and able to be replicated to the other instance/node?

With an availability requirement of 99.5% for the application, we either need to figure out how to make clustering and session persistence work - or set expectations/clearly define what 'availability' means.

If a node fails, and a user needs to log in again - but the remaining node is still available - is that a hit against the SLA?
