ORA-12203 ERROR WHEN TRYING TO EXECUTE DCAPI FROM VC++ (Doc ID 1082153.1)

We have developed VC++ program which uses one of the DCAPI's connectOCL.

However, we are receiving an ORA-12203 error.

We are unable to proceed any further. The program is being executed in an user's desktop, what is the cause ?

The program runs correctly if it's executed in the middle tier where Oracle Clinical is installed.
