Goal
Text needs to include carriage returns and the text is not actually a free text block but rather a repeating item group of a text variable, which has a default value for each repeating item. For example, you wish to appear on the CRF:
Subject has a resting pulse rate (determined in supine position after a resting period of at least 5 carriage return;
minutes): 45 or 95 beats / min;
Instead of:
Subject has a resting pulse rate (determined in supine position after a resting period of at least 5 minutes): 45 or 95 beats / min;
