Goal

This note describes how to merge Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management(OFSALM) and Funds Transfer Pricing(FTP) data models and generate one model. The subject areas that are present in FTP and not present in OFSALM will be compared. As a result of this exercise, OFSALM model will contain all the FTP related entities.

The purpose of this document,OFSALM data model that was released on Linux platform is taken as the base. OFSALM data model on AIX platform had additional columns TRANS_ID and TRUE_GL_ID in the instrument and result tables. This was subsequently removed during the Linux platform qualification release.

Steps to merge data model with in AIX:
  • Go to Fusion - ALM Client Tables Subject Area for each table and remove TRANS_ID and TRUE_GL_ID columns from tables below:
FSI_O_CONS_DETAIL_TEMPLATE
FSI_O_CONSOLIDATED_MASTER
FSI_O_RESULT_DETAIL_TEMPLATE
FSI_O_RESULT_MASTER
  • Go to Fusion - Ledger Stat Subject Area and remove TRANS_ID and TRUE_GL_ID from the LEDGER_STAT table.
  • Go to Fusion - Instrument - Annuity Contracts Subject area and remove TRANS_ID and TRUE_GL_ID from the LEAF_COLUMNS super-type table. This will remove TRANS_ID and TRUE_GL_ID from all the instrument tables.
