Goal

We have to cache some additional objects into Reference Object Cache (ROC) of TIMOS, for which we are following below process:

1. Add PIN_FLD_OBJECT_CACHE_TYPE, PIN_FLD_RESIDENCY_TYPE field to object which needs to cached in TIMOS ROC.

Table column names as below:

CACHE_TYPE for PIN_FLD_OBJECT_CACHE_TYPE
RESIDENCY_TYPE for PIN_FLD_RESIDENCY_TYPE

2. Update the corresponding residency_type in DD_OBJECTS_T table in Portal database:

Update DD_OBJECTS_T set RESIDENCY_TYPE=5 where name=<Name of Object>

e.g. for caching /profile/pin object:

Update DD_OBJECTS_T set RESIDENCY_TYPE=5 where name='/profile/pin';
Update <table name for object> set cache_type=0;

3. Restart TIMOS.
dm_timos_console.log shows the objects and its row count which are getting cached, as expected.

Apart from the ones described above, to cache custom objects into TIMOS ROC, is there any other steps to be taken care about?
