Network Processor Fails To Start With SDK Cartridges After Upgrade

Symptoms

After upgrading to IPSA5.2.4 Patch 10 (or above), the Network Processor (NP) may fail to start. The following errors can be seen accompanying the NP shutting down in the networkprocessor.log file:
