ASAP Terminated With Errors ORA-00604: Error Occurred At Recursive SQL Level 1 And ORA-00018: Maximum Number Of Sessions Exceeded Errcode (Doc ID 1104153.1)

Symptoms

ASAP servers terminate and following error messages are appeared in diag file:

Error - ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-00018: maximum number of sessions exceeded errcode[604]


At the time of the errors, the number of sessions from:

select count(*) from v$session;


was much less than the SESSIONS parameter value was set in the database.
