Dictionary Upgrade Impact In TMS 4.5.2 When Deriving Non-Coding-Level Terms e.g. SOC (System Organ Class) (Doc ID 1105866.1)

Goal

TMS 4.5.2

At the moment we are coding in TMS 4.5.2 in MedDRA on the LLT level and we are currently deriving only the LLT as child question to Oracle Clinical.

If during a dictionary upgrade, an LLT changes, the corresponding terms are automatically marked for re-derivation from TMS to O*C during the next Batch Validation.

What would happen if we go on with coding on the LLT level, but derive not only the LLT but also the PT and the SOC as child questions back to O*C?

What happens if during a dictionary upgrade the LLT does not change as such, but it is shifted to a different SOC?

If we derive also PT and SOC to Oracle Clinical, would the mentioned hierarchy change also trigger a re-derivation or not?
