NMS - Oracle Network Management System

During the course of normal operations, jobs are being recorded with the wrong completion date.

This error message appears in the system's log file:

DateTimeEntry::initValues()
file specified by DATEMSK environment variable specifies format strings matching more than one of the following dates:
12/31/99 23:59
31/12/99 23:59
99/12/31 23:59


The issue can be reproduced at will, on a system where both the month number and the day number are less than or equal to the 2-digit year value, with the following steps:

  1. Create call.
  2. Open device.
  3. Close device for a restoration.
  4. Examine the restoration date in the jobs table.
